Music Equipment

Can Indie music artist really survive? The simplest answer is NO. Most Indie music artist now still has one or more day jobs to survive. However, most of them are not even willing to give up their music – whether they make it big one day or not..

.... The Claremont Port Side

The music industry has seen some music legends come and go. Some have played and sang their whole life while some are short-lived, but have their musical masterpieces live longer than they did.

There are also one-time hit makers where they outlived their careers. In the present time, getting into the music industry is more complicated than landing a blue-collared job. New artists are compared

to existing musicians, and the genre competition is tight.  A successful music artist may be one of the wealthiest homeowners in Hollywood in Los Angeles and could be living the life anyone could dream

of. “Hey, they only sing and do their thing, and they get paid millions” you might say, but the road to where they are may not have been a paved one for most.

Coming Soon

A very wise woman once said... "Someday is NOT a day of the week".. thank you Denise Brennan-Nelson! And yet we continue to live our lives based on everything happening SOMEDAY.  Don't we think, work, and react in those terms every day?  So let's put it all in perspective and deal with the current instead of the future. Welcome  to Monday Morning....

Blues is the name given to both a musical form and a music genre that originated in communities of primarily the "Deep South" of the United States at the end of the 1800’s from spirituals, work songs, field hollers, shouts and narrative ballads.  Blues Music is responsible for and ubiquitous in jazz, rhythm and blues, and rock and roll. Blues Music is truly the Backbone of American Music.

My introduction to the Blues came at an early age in my Grandfather’s tobacco fields. Granddad’s help would sing work songs and field hollers as they primed tobacco walking bent over in the long, long rows of those tobacco fields. That’s where my fascination and my appreciation of Blues music began.

I got bit by "The Radio Bug" back in 2004 at an AM station in Denver, CO.  There have been a couple of other stops along the way and I hope to culminate all of my experience into  Radio remains a powerful force in today's world and we have the ability to take our listeners anywhere we want as radio is truly "The Theater of the Mind". However, with that Ability comes a ton of Responsibility and we accept that and are ready for the challenge.

I was introduced to Internet radio 5 years ago by my friend and Station/Show Partner Hoss Andrews. It had quickly became a "passion"... along with motorcycling, writing, and the lists goes on. I have been involved in many aspects of the "radio life", usually being interviewed, and eventually co-hosting a Veteran infused weekly show in Colorado. So it's not a passing  fad for me.  I am an Air Force and Vietnam Veteran and old enough to be everyone's Grandpa. So come along for the ride.... you'll love it.
